Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 September 2026.
This policy explains what Deehvine Marketing (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, contact us, pay us or buy Deehvine Connect, and what we do with it. We are based in Providence, Rhode Island, and you can reach us at any time at hello@deehvinemarketing.com.
What we collect
When you contact us
Our enquiry forms ask for your name and email, and depending on the form your organization, phone number, website, budget range, timeline and a description of what you need. Form submissions are delivered to us by email; we do not keep a database of them on this website.
When you subscribe
If you sign up for our Insights emails we store your email address with MailerLite, who send those emails for us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
When you buy or pay
Checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address, shipping address and payment details, and processes the payment. We never see or store your full card number.
From Stripe we receive and keep a customer record: your name and email, the plan and billing term you chose, your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your subscription status and your renewal date. For a physical card we also use the shipping address you gave Stripe to produce and post it. If you pay an invoice through our Make a Payment page, we keep the amount and any invoice number or project name you typed.
Your Connect profile
Whatever you choose to publish on a Connect profile is stored so it can be shown. A profile is public by design: anyone with your card, QR code or link can see it. Statistics about profile views are counted in aggregate, and visitors to your profile are not identified to you by name.
Automatically, as you browse
- Server logs. Our host records IP addresses, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, and keeps them for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and links people use. It sets cookies and collects a shortened IP address, device and browser information, and the actions you take on the site. We do not use it to try to identify you.
- Cookies. Necessary cookies come from WordPress and our caching layer and keep the site working. Analytics cookies come from Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works without the analytics ones.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and talk about your project.
- To take payment, prevent fraud and keep accounting records.
- To produce and post your Connect card, and to run and support your profile.
- To send service emails such as receipts, renewal reminders and changes to a plan you hold. These are not marketing and you cannot unsubscribe from them while you are a customer.
- To send Insights emails, if you asked for them.
- To see how the site performs and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who else handles it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use these companies to run the business, and they only get what they need to do their part:
- Stripe — payments, billing and payment fraud checks.
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics.
- Hostinger — hosting, server logs and site storage.
- MailerLite — Insights emails.
- Our email provider, which delivers the mail this site sends and the mail we send you.
- Our card production and shipping partner, which receives the name and address needed to make and post a card.
- Google Drive, where our encrypted site backups are stored.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the security of the service.
Where it is held
Our website, our backups and our payment records are held in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information is transferred here.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months from your last message, unless you become a client.
- Customer and payment records: at least seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it.
- Analytics: for the retention period set in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.
- Profile content: until you delete it or the account ends.
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
Email hello@deehvinemarketing.com and you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. We will answer within 30 days. We honour these requests wherever you live, including if you have rights under Rhode Island or other state privacy laws, or under the GDPR or UK GDPR.
Two limits worth knowing: deleting your information does not delete payment records we are legally required to keep, and deleting a Connect profile stops the card from resolving to anything.
You can also unsubscribe from any marketing email, change your cookie choice on this site, block cookies in your browser, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
Children
This site and Deehvine Connect are meant for adults and for business use. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payments are handled entirely by Stripe, backups are encrypted and access to customer records is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected people promptly if something goes wrong.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page. The date at the top changes when we do, and we will tell customers by email about a change that materially affects them.
