Terms of Service

These terms cover this website, the project work we do for clients, and Deehvine Connect. Deehvine Marketing (“Deehvine”, “we”, “us”) is a creative and digital agency based in Providence, Rhode Island. “You” means the person or organization using this site or buying from us. Using the site or buying anything from us means you accept these terms.
Project work
Design, development, branding and other project work is governed by the written proposal or agreement signed for that project. Where that agreement and this page disagree, the signed agreement wins. Nothing on this website is a quote on its own: a price becomes binding when it appears in a proposal you have signed or an invoice we have sent you.
Payments made through our Make a Payment page are payments against that agreement or invoice.
Deehvine Connect
Connect is a physical NFC card and a digital profile. What a plan includes is what is listed on the Deehvine Connect page at the time you buy it.
- Connect Card is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no renewal.
- Connect+ and Connect Business are subscriptions, billed either monthly or annually.
- Connect Teams is quoted and invoiced by us. It is not sold through checkout.
- Every plan includes a physical card.
Billing and renewal
- Prices are in US dollars. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the rate then listed for your plan, using the payment method you gave at checkout, until you cancel.
- Monthly plans include a one-time card and setup fee on the first payment. Annual plans include the card in the price.
- If a payment fails we may retry it, and we may pause subscription features until it succeeds.
- We may change our prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will email you before a renewal at a new price.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. What is and is not refunded is set out in our Refunds, Cancellations & Shipping policy.
A card you paid for keeps working
Ending a subscription does not switch off a card you bought. When a subscription is cancelled or lapses, the account moves to the Connect Card feature set: the card, its QR code, your public profile and Save Contact keep working. Subscription-only features stop, nothing is deleted, and resubscribing restores them.
Your profile and your content
You are responsible for what you publish on your Connect profile. It must be accurate, it must be yours to publish, and it must not be unlawful, deceptive or infringing. You keep ownership of it and give us only the permission we need to host, display and deliver it, including in a QR code and in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes.
A Connect profile is public by design. Anyone with your card, your QR code or your profile link can see what is on it. Do not put anything there that you would not hand to a stranger.
Acceptable use
Do not use Connect to impersonate someone else, to send spam, to distribute malware or phishing, or for anything unlawful. Do not attack, probe or reverse engineer the service, and do not resell or white-label it unless your plan or a written agreement with us allows it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks this, and we will tell you why.
Production and delivery
Your card goes into production once your payment succeeds. Delivery times, returns and replacements are covered in Refunds, Cancellations & Shipping.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own checkout page and never reach our servers. Stripe’s terms apply to the payment itself. What we receive and store is described in our Privacy Policy.
This website
The text, design, images and code on this site are ours or used with permission. Please do not copy or republish them without asking. Links to other websites are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for what is on them.
Availability
We work to keep this site and Connect running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, change how features work, or retire a feature, and we will give notice where that is practical.
Disclaimers and liability
Except where an agreement we have signed with you says otherwise, the website and Connect are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to this website, Connect or an order is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business, lost profit or lost contacts. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using the site or cancel a subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if a payment fails and is not resolved, or if the law requires it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, and any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts serving Providence County, Rhode Island.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The date at the top changes when we do, and we will email subscribers before a change that affects billing. Continuing to use the site or your subscription after a change means you accept the updated terms.
