Branding & Creative

Distinctive brands that communicate your purpose and make an impact.

A brand people can recognize

Branding is not a logo file. It is the set of decisions that make an organization look and sound like itself everywhere it shows up: on a sign, in an email, on a phone screen, in a grant application, on Sunday morning. Deehvine Marketing builds identities that hold together across all of those places, for businesses, nonprofits, churches and community organizations in Providence, Rhode Island, and beyond.

Problems this solves

  • A logo that was made quickly years ago and now limits what you can do with it.
  • Different colors, fonts and tone in every document because there is no shared reference.
  • A new organization that needs to look established from day one.
  • A merger, rename or new program that the current identity cannot stretch to cover.
  • A brand that looks fine on paper but falls apart on a website or a phone.

What the work includes

  • Brand strategy and positioning: who you serve, what you stand for, and how you differ from the organizations around you.
  • Naming support and messaging: tagline, value statements and the words your team uses to describe the work.
  • Logo and identity system, including a primary mark, secondary marks and lockups that work at every size.
  • Color, typography and imagery direction, tested for legibility and accessibility on screens as well as in print.
  • Brand guidelines your team and vendors can follow without asking us.
  • Collateral: business cards, print, presentation and social templates, signage and event materials.
  • Digital application: how the identity behaves on your website, in email and in the products you run.

How a branding project runs

  1. Discover. Interviews and a review of where the brand appears today. We look for what already works before we propose anything new.
  2. Strategy. Positioning, audiences and a short brief that every design decision is checked against.
  3. Design. Two or three identity directions, refined to one system with your feedback.
  4. Build. Final files in every format you need, guidelines, and templates your team can actually use.
  5. Launch and grow. A rollout plan for the website, social channels, signage and print so the change lands cleanly.

Brand and website together

Because we design identities and build websites under one roof, the two do not have to be translated between agencies. The type scale, color system and voice we define for the brand become the design system for the site. See how that worked for LYS & CO, where the identity and the event website were designed as one project, and for Ephese OS, where a brand system ties an entire platform together.

Who it is for

New organizations that need an identity to launch with, and established ones whose look no longer matches what they have become. Churches planting or rebranding a ministry, nonprofits preparing a campaign, and businesses that have outgrown a first logo all fit this work.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a full rebrand or a refresh?

If people recognize your current mark and it still represents you, a refresh keeps that equity and fixes the system around it: colors, type, usage rules, digital behavior. A full rebrand makes sense when the name, mission or audience has changed. We recommend one during discovery and explain why.

What files do we receive?

Vector and raster versions of every mark in color, single color and reverse; web-ready and print-ready formats; a guidelines document; and editable templates for the collateral in scope.

Can you design our website at the same time?

Yes, and it is usually the most efficient route. See Web Design & Development.

How long does branding take?

An identity system typically takes four to eight weeks depending on the number of directions, rounds of feedback and collateral pieces.
